Cancel BT Sport monthly subscription

I'd like to cancel my BT Sport monthly subscription (due for renewal on 16/03/23). As per other users, i'm unable to cancel this online. I've tried calling 0800 800 030 several times but no answer. Messaging via Twitter is useless (suggests calling the aforementioned number). Why have you made this process so difficult.
