Casting functionality is not included in you bt sport subscription #2

Hi Colin. I am having exactly the same issue and BT Customer services haven't got a clue! They say that Chromecast isn't supported by the BT Sport app!! I have BT Broadband and BT Mobile accounts so could you kindly help me out and get this resolved for me too please?

Hi David.

 
My BT Sport is still not casting so the issue persists and is rather irritating!
 
You keep trying to ring my mobile number but the phone never rings!!
 
Can you call my BT landline and not my BT mobile.
 
There's also £1.50 text charges on my BT mobile account from replying to your staff about this matter that I'd like refunding please.

Are you gettina specific error message when trying to cast?

Hi I have been having the same issue. I have spent two hours via live chat / twitter and phone calls on my day off today to get the issue resolved.

It does seem to stem from the fact that I had the BT sport “Mobile” version this one you can not cast or watch online. After finally speaking with the retention dept they have now removed this version and have ordered the BT sport “ App” pack which allows the casting to chromecast.

He is stated he is phoning me back at 3pm to hopefully tell me it’s now available to watch and cast , as of yet on the MY BT app my package has removed the mobile version but not updated the new order.

I hope this gives you some info as to what is probably going wrong.

My BT Sport is no longer working at all !! Very frustrating as the problem has progressed from casting not allowed to not having BT Sport at all. When I access from the app it says "You haven't activated BT Sport on your account yet"
When I click the link to activate and login to my BT account I get the message:

Your BT ID is correct but you don't have BT Sport on your account.

Got BT Broadband? Get BT Sport on the app or stream online for free for 3 months, then £7 a month. Or add BT Sport to BT TV for £3.50 a month, BT TV subscription required from £0 a month (TV activation required). Get BT Sport.

Please can someone restore my service and get everything working including casting.

Please call landline on 27th Nov as away at the moment

Thanks for getting back. I'm really sorry this hasn't been sorted yet. I'll get this looked into and will schedule a call for the 27th. If I get any updates in the meantime I'll post here.

Hi David. Many thanks for finally sorting out the casting issue but now I have a billing issue.. I've had £113.67 taken from my account today! This is an excessivley large bill and is totatally incorrect. Can you help :-

 

from the old a/c no: <Removed> I would pay £31.49 per month for line rental and unlimited Infinity broadband and calls. this account was merged to a/c<Removed> where I would pay for BT Mobile at £8 per month. If you add the two payments together, I should be paying £39.49 per month but I have just been billed £113.67!! how is this possible??
