I have been unable to cast live, BT Sport since I renewed my contract in June. All attempts give the recurrent error:
Sorry - casting functionality is not included in your BT Sport subscription
BT’s answers have largely been unhelpful; blaming the Wi-fi, device or abruptly terminating the web chat stating Chromecast issues aren't supported. I have spent 2 hours on the phone to them today passed from department to department . BT assure me that the ability to cast is included in my subscription.
I think that when my package changed they forgot to switch something. I have suggested this but they won't investigate further blaming chromecast

I'm sorry you had problems casting the BT Sport app and that it took so long to get sorted out. I could see that this was an account issue that was presenting you with the "unable to cast" message. I have updated your account now and I am pleased that you can cast the BT Sport app again
