Casting functionality is not included in your BT sport subscription

I have BT sport via my business broadband. The first time I installed and logged into BT sport after my broadband was activated, I was able to cast to my Chromecast. This was about 5 weeks ago.

Since then I have not used it, but tried to cast the champions League matches tonight and constantly get the message that casting is not included in my subscription.

Have BT removed the casting option for broadband customers?

Hi @Karka,

I was casting my own last night so we haven't removed it.

You mentioned you have a business service. Are you paying for BT Sport for Business or have you bought our residential service?

No it's not BT sport for business. It's just the BT sport app. So I guess that means I cannot cast which is pretty pointless. What's confusing is when I first logged in after activation, casting worked fine.

So there is no way to add casting to the service I have without taking out a second by sport subscription? Seriously I can't think of anything more pointless. Sit at home and watch champions League football on a tiny phone screen. I think not.

Another empty gesture from by. FREE BT SPORT APP WHEN YOU TAKE BUSINESS BROADBAND (but you can't watch it on your TV like residential broadband customers). Useless

Thanks for clearing that up. BT Business offered the BT Sport app for free for personal use on compatible phones or tablets.

BT Business actually have their own Community: BT Business Community Forum
