Confused about ESPN

Hi all,

I'm a little confused about ESPN.

I had BT Infinity 2 and Vision+ box installed on the 5th.

I subscribe to the 'extra' channels and Sky Sports, have a pretty much constant 77 meg down 20 up (never below 75/16) Infinity 2 connection and have BT Sport 1 and 2.

I'm a new BT customer, so never used to have ESPN with BT.

Everything else works fine, but ESPN.

When I go onto ESPN, Channel 34, I can see it's a Broadband channel, but says that I need to subscribe.

I've checked my entitlements and it lists all (including BT Sport) but ESPN.

I have tried a forced resync, turning everything off etc.

I called BT and they sent me a view card, which I tried to say wouldn't work as I've ESPN via Infinity, not Freeview, but I recieved one and it didn't work.

I called again today and they said I would have to pay to recieve it at the moment.

My question is:

- If I don't currently see ESPN now, will I see it come this whole switch on?

Thanks,

Matthew

Re: Confused about ESPN

If you pay the £12.50 fee for the films , music , kids tv and sport channel then you should get espn for free through your tv .

The new versions will be on,

941 - ESPN

942 - ESPN HD

Your BT Sport pack entitlement should give you access once they launch, but I can't say for sure. I can't currently see those two channels, though can view channel 34. I do have ESPN in my entitlement, but don't currently have BT Sport listed.

Re: Confused about ESPN

Thanks all for your help.

I'll hang on until the official launch and see what happens.

There isn't much on ESPN at the moment (mainly watch it for football), so I'll wait and see 🙂

Thanks again!
