LP205 Error message re BT Sport

Apparently I am in a foreign country , err no . I think the mistake i made was to download Proton VPN and despite trashing it, I still get the following "LP205:Sorry, but you're not able to watch this content outside the UK." whether it be chrome or Safari .I have tried restarting both the computer and router to no avail .I checked my IP address in System Preferences/ Network and tried opening it via my address bar to no avail, ie " Safari cannot connect to the server (address)" Can some please advise me? Thanks

Please log out of the web site and then log in again - this should force it to re-validate your current location.  If it's still failing then please send me a DM with the BT ID you're logging in with and I'll check what's happening.

I did that and it now seems to work fine in Chrome although in Safari I get VC011 error message. Having said that provided I can  continue using  it on Chrome I'll be quite happy.Many thanks for your help
