New BT TV app today

@ney I believe the App Store was introduced on Apple TV from the 4th generation models so earlier generations don’t have one. So you would be able to select and download  the BT TV app from the App Store on 4th gen Apple TV. I believe any new apps that earlier generations of Apple TV would get would only come via Apple software updates if at all.

Apple have stopped supporting earlier generations.

I still have an old Apple TV 2 set-up in another room, which I hardly use: I’ve just realised I can’t AirPlay content from the BT app on my phone to it either, I can Airplay from the BT Sport App to that, however.

Thanx for the the replies . I have a felling going by the replies the new BT TV app will not work on my sisters Apple TV box then.
