Unable to switch to new Sky Q viewing card.

Hi,

    Got Sky Q installed yesterday, went online to swap viewing card to new one for BT Sport, it says cannot do it with error:

Sorry, we can't provide BT Sport on this card. Please try a different card or click 'Cancel' to exit this journey.

 

I spoke to BT who said they couldn't do it either, then they said speak to Sky, who basically said if your Sky Q box is working and you are receiving all channels except BT, then it's a BT problem.

 

It would seem that neither company wish to take responsibility! I have to say that as BT is giving me the error, the problem does lie with them.

 

Any ideas?

Hi, I did thanks, eventually got through to a very helpful chap in technical support who was able to force the system to accept the number.

Not sure why they didn't say that in the beginning, but it's solved now!

I have been having the same issue and nobody at BT can sort it. How did the force through the change because nobody at all can help me change it

I am having the same issue. Bt kept saying the addresses have to be exact otherwise it won't swap it? Not sure I believe this though!
