Further to the above (things are progressing quicker than I expected), we now need some sample Sky customers affected by this issue so that they can dig further.

Hi there,

I use NOWTV broadband and am having the same issues when trying to access BT Sport on my PS5. 

I tried the fix you have listed but still having the same issue. I am happy to share any info required to help resolve this issue ASAP. I’d also be keen to use the Beta version also.

Latest update is that Sky have been able to reproduce the problem in their lab and have a specialist team investigating to find the cause.
I'll send you a DM with instructions for the beta @gmurray_91 but please bear in mind that you will still most likely encounter issues - it improves the experience, but doesn't completely fix it.

Hi @DarrenDev,

Could you please provide me details of instructions to join the beta? I have sky broadband and I am still having the same error message continuously when trying to watch BT sports on my PS5. I have tried the DNS settings change as mentioned on you’re thread but I am still having the same issues and same error message.

Hi,

I'm too on Sky and having this issue too.

A quick fix I have found is the following.

Press the PS button > go to Network > Network Settings >  Settings > toggle connect to Internet off > go back to BT sport and try to play something, it will say your not connected to the Internet > go back to Network Settings and toggle connect to the Internet back on again > return to BT sport and play.

 

This resolves the issue for me and allows me to watch the channel I'm watching without any disruption.....but I go to another channel, the issue occurs again and I have to repeat the fix process again.

 

The steps may seem quite long when reading it, but it actually takes 10 seconds to complete.

 

I'll be doing this until the issue is patched and resolved, thought it may help others too

Hi Darren,

I am also experiencing this error code on my PS5 after 10-15 seconds of playback, it freezes. I have tried everything from hot spotting to re-downloading the app - nothing works, its very frustrating. Fyi - I am also with Sky for my broadband.

Could I have details for the Beta fix please?
