Vc003 message when trying to watch in UK

Hi - I keep getting VC003 (you must be in UK to watch), from both the BT Sport App on my phone and when using a web browser, when trying to watch over WiFi. Location services are on, date and time are automatic and correct, bbc I-player works, sky sports works, google maps correctly finds my location. BT sport refuses to work. Any ideas why all other providers seem to work out the location but BT sport can’t? (I suspect that for some reason BT thinks my IP address is outside the UK - however correct me if I am wrong!) Many Thanks.....

Longshot but are you using an ad blocker? Only say this as Ublock Origin stops Iplayer for me.

Hi @jabirchall,

It may be possible that the IP you are using appears to be outside of the UK. However; if your on our residential service your IP address should change as it's a dynamic IP. Do you know if your IP address has changed at all since the problem began? If you aren't sure, let us know so we can try and change it from our end.

I’m not sure if my IP address has changed, however I have hard reset my router in an attempt to resolve the problem, so would suspect I may have a new IP address.
