Watching on PC Lags Badly

I use firefox as my main browser on my home PC with a fibre connection of 1GBS

When i watch BTSport football online the game lags quite badly, it seems to stick then speeds up every few seconds and is almost unwatchable.

I have tried various browsers and possibly Microsoft Edge is a little better but still seems to lag whilst watching.

Is there an app you can install on the Pc like you can on the iPhone as when i watch on my phone the picture is perfect with no lags.

it only seems to be an issue when watching on PC and i know my connection being fibre is more then fast enough.

If you have WIndows 10 then yes there is a BT Sport app from the windows store you can download. The quality is very good.

Did you try it out? How did you find the quality? On my windows 10 pc with the app i get full 1080p 50fps stream. I actually think the quality is better than the 1080i 25fps picture my parents get through Youview!!
