Re: error 6013 / VCR BT has never heard of this error before!

That's helpful, Neil. Also, several people have reported in another thread that simply making sure Silverlight is enabled in Internet Explorer has done the trick. Worth repeating the path posted at Message 6 above:

Tools > Internet options > Programs > Manage add-ons > make sure Silverlight is enabled (you may need to select all add-ons in the "Show" drop-down list).

Re: error 6013 / VC019 BT has never heard of this error before!

Hi all,

I was having playback issues on all Silverlight-based streaming services and solved it with the following steps:

  1. Browse on your computer to “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\PlayReady\”.
  2. Change the name of “mspr.hds” to “mspr.hds.old”. (In other words, you want to get rid of the mspr.hds file, and you are renaming it just so that you have a backup copy of it

Hi BT here.

The problem relates to a Microsoft browser plug-in called silvelrlight.

the other option is to go through your mybt account and at the bottom of the page you will see contact BT.

Click that and you have multipal option's, i went with BT infinity...then complaint's this will take you to a live assistance, put you detail's in, such as your name address and account number then make the complaint about silverlight not working on your computer, But make sure once you connect to an advisor you tell them the spec of your computer.

It was the text behind the link that I requested. You failed to deliver, someone else did it instead.
You missed your chance. Get over it.

After 3 hours of trying, the following worked for me in Windows 7.

1: Change time zone and then change back to London time.

2: Clear browser history

3: Uninstall and then re-install Silverlight

4: Install Firefox ( I was using Google)

5: Re-boot

6 :Log into www.btsport.com

7: Select Watch now / Watch

8:  The error message 6025 / VC019 still appears, but ignore and select continue

 Hey presto !

ps. apparently many people encountered problems today, when trying to tune in after the match had started.
