That's helpful, Neil. Also, several people have reported in another thread that simply making sure Silverlight is enabled in Internet Explorer has done the trick. Worth repeating the path posted at Message 6 above:
Tools > Internet options > Programs > Manage add-ons > make sure Silverlight is enabled (you may need to select all add-ons in the "Show" drop-down list).

I have checked the link and for some reason it is'nt working !!! strange because i used it only yesterday.
the other option is to go through your mybt account and at the bottom of the page you will see contact BT.
Click that and you have multipal option's, i went with BT infinity...then complaint's this will take you to a live assistance, put you detail's in, such as your name address and account number then make the complaint about silverlight not working on your computer, But make sure once you connect to an advisor you tell them the spec of your computer.
I,E operating system...memory...ram....graphic's card...upload and download speed !

The other thing is ! if the link still won't work type it in your browser it should work that way.

LOL i'm well over what ever you think i should be over ! hope the link posted works for you, even thought you never picked up the phone to sought out the problem yourself.
After 3 hours of trying, the following worked for me in Windows 7.
1: Change time zone and then change back to London time.
2: Clear browser history
3: Uninstall and then re-install Silverlight
4: Install Firefox ( I was using Google)
6 :Log into www.btsport.com
7: Select Watch now / Watch
8: The error message 6025 / VC019 still appears, but ignore and select continue
