post- lockdown buffering

Has BT Sport been tinkering while there's been no live sport? Before lockdown my connection was fine - I could watch Speedway, MotoGP and Rugby Union, two of which, at least, are fast moving sports, with the only problem being that the screen would occasionally freeze on the ad break page. But now that I've recommenced watching, I'm trying to watch the MotoGP and it's unwatchable. It literally freezes and buffers every few seconds. I've not changed anything - same equipment, same software, and the half dozen or so other streaming services I use (e.g. Eurosport) haven't dropped in quality, but BT Sport is as bad as it was 3 or 4 years ago. I'm using Chrome and Windows 7 Pro, which, yes, I know, isn't supported, but I don't need the enhanced bells and whistles and it worked in February!

Re: post- lockdown buffering

Local broadband congestion due to yesterday being Super Sunday with last day of the Premier League and wall to wall matches on Sky / Now TV?  Or were you streaming MotoGP live?

Try catch up today and see if it is still a problem.
