Home Hub fault

Home Hub 4 died last night. Checked the forum for solutions to a permanent green light condition. All solutions failed. Left unplugged overnight, still no luck. Substituted my old hub retrieved from the loft which worked fine.

 

Now waiting 24 hours for my line to be 'monitored' for faults. Tech support via the phone are reading from a script so don't really listen to your explaination of the symptoms.
