This is not a question!
In attempting to get verified to join this forum I was unable to use my iCloud email address. There was no problem as soon as I changed to a gmail address.
This has been commented on in the past which is how I knew to make the change. The point is that this had not yet been fixed - as recently as less than two weeks ago.
