Old fence on my garden where there used to be a phone box!?

Hi all can anybody point me in the right direction as to who to ring or how to go about contacting the right section of bt to ask for permission to remove it as it is an eyesore! Horrible concrete post with wire fencing across them. Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks Adam

I think that is an openreach problem not bt retail - try here http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/submitFeedback.do?contactReason=remove_relocate_external_networ...

Re: Old fence on my garden where there used to be a phone box!?

BT Payphones only rent a space from the local council for a phone box. Once the box has gone, then the land returns to the local council.

You could ask BT Payphones about it http://www.payphones.bt.com/publicpayphones/index.htm

Openreach would not be interested as BT Payphones are part of BT Retail.
