Ranking structure

Go to solution

I notice that we are all "visitors" at the moment. Is that part of the ranking structure? If it is, could someone explain how it will be progressing please? What are we aiming for after visitor?

Yeah I noticed that too, perhaps when you join it should be Community Member?

Re: Ranking structure

Hi all

Sorry I'm late. There I was seeing the old forum off when bang they turned the lights out on me!

Only just found the exit.

I've seen on one of CG's threads (Forum staus) that Kerry will put info on the ranking system in the Annoucements section.

Re: Ranking structure

Hey - I've just become a "newbie". Not sure whether to feel excited or a bit upset. Am I Scrooge or Bob Cratchit today? Or perhaps Marley's Ghost?

Oh go on - I'll be grateful.I feel so privileged to be "inexperienced but IN" and not just "welcome but only a visitor".

But there again - how do I know its an improvement? Maybe I've been DOWNgraded and newbie is even lower than visitor?

Where's my tinfoil hat?

I found some information about rating, but so far, no info about ranking other than here.

Onward and upward.

Re: Ranking structure

I'm going to guess that 25 posts is the trigger for "Newbie" status?  Shall we start guessing what the next level will be?  I'm going for "mostly harmless" :smileysurprised:

Cheers
Alun

EDIT:  I'm a newbie too!  I hadn't realised... hmmm... not 25 posts then!

EDIT2:  Hang on DS is a visitor with 32 posts... OK, this is wierd... hang on, and Black SUV just pulled up with a couple of chaps in suits... I just need to answer the door, back in a mi....

Has anyone come up with any other ideas about how this all works.  I have to say that I am happier being called a Visitor than a Newbie!

Weirder and weirder - this must be a Forum Mod wind-up.  I've just spotted a post on another part of the forum where the poster is listed as a Newbie with only two posts.

Argggh!  Now I've been Newbied to!  It's almost an insult.

If only I was still allowed to be a normal man, I'd be tempted at times to spit upon my hands, hoist the black flag, and ...

Better not!
