Why are some exchanges listed as District B?

As the subject header. Why are some exchanges listed as District B?

 

Anyone know what District B stands for?

@Bowdon Do you mean a market B exchange? If so it's means it is telephone exchange where there are three or more primary operators (ISPs) present. It's used by Ofcom to classify competition between ISP's in different exchange areas.
