I thought ooenreach might be interested that their expensive resources were not being put to good use , if parked there every weekday , they are obviously not required by the user . I think most companies would like to save money where they can ?
Have you contacted the owners of the parking area to see if they are in breach of any rules? Have you checked to see how many other cars parked there all day or is it only that you notice the vans because of their logo?
I'm sure you only have Openreach's resources at heart! Like it would matter to you. I suspect that you are irritated by the vans being parked there. Did they stop you from getting parked.
Do they go out during the day and come back in the evening?
A lot of engineers are home parkers, in which case this may be the closest place they can park to where they live.
The Managers don’t have access to the GPS Tracker within the van. It was taken away from them years ago as they were abusing it by micro managing Engineers.
Only BT Security now have access and it is used purely for the safety of the Engineer. So say for example the Engineer fails to Sign Off at the end of his/her working day and doesn’t respond to phone calls to make sure they’re OK then the Manager would contact Security who will check the Trackers location and pass it onto said Manager.
In all due respect they’re parked legally and not breaking a single law.
And also it’s absolutely none of your Business as to why they park there and or what those vans are used for.
Is this the location (based upon your descriptionI think it maybe)
