I had the same problem trying to reset the password on my BT Community account.
I normally use an email client, and the Reset Password button did not work in the email I received. I copied the link, and entered this into my browsers (I tried Firefox and Chrome browsers), and although it allowed me to enter the new password, it refused to accept it.
Eventually I found the answer that worked for me. I logged into webmail, which I very rarely do, and the Reset Password button worked and the new password was accepted.
It would have helped if the email to reset the password either worked as it does with other sites, or included a notice that webmail had to be used.
