Absolutely awful service

I cancelled my account with BT in December when I moved from the property. I was told it would be officially cancelled on the 4th January 2016 (which was the official move in date to my new property). I have since been told that no one actually cancelled the account til mid February and have been saddled with a bill for over £80. I have been told 3 times that this would be sorted out and I'm yet to get an answer and an amended final bill. I'm absolutely sick of calling and being passed from pillar to post and having to explain the situation over and over again, this is a last ditch attempt to get some help.

Hi John, thanks for responding. I have on a few occasions spoken to customer services through Live Chat to no avail. I actually spoke to them just before commenting on the forum. They were meant to call me at 4pm when I finished work but haven't heard anything yet. I will try again tomorrow.

Give BT a call on 0330 1234 150 from your landline or 0800 800 150 from your mobile and they have people there who can help......

Yeah, you can also just ring 150 from your mobile......

From a landline: 0800 800 150
From a mobile: 0330 123 4150

you can only dial150 from a mobile if your provider is BT mobile.
