i just rejoined BT for Full Fiber Broadband after 11 years with other ISPs.
To my surprise when I logged into my new My BT, the account shown was wrong...possibly an 11 year old account number !
After many calls with BT tried to Add Another Account". Seemed to half work...some screens now showing new account but not main screen. Seems no product registered too. I have been told I can change certain thing like Parental Controls through Manage Extras button but that is not visible (maybe because no products).
Service desk were trying to reset in background...got email saying to add account again...did that but same issues.
Getting frustrated (maybe more chilled if BT giving service free lol).
Hi @Timhg, welcome to the forum, and sorry you are having a problem managing your account online.
Has the old account now been deleted from your MyBT? If it has would you clear your cookies and cache and log in again and see if you can manage your account or alternatively try a different internet browser.
