Re: Anyone else been lied to by BT staff

Yes, it took multiple telephone calls over more than a month before BT would send me a Basic application form and now they are disregarding it.

Does BT place any limit on the extent of harassment it allows its staff to inflict on its more vulnerable customers before insisting that they execute a relatively simple transaction?

You need to remove your date of birth, NI number, address, phone number and account number from your post. This is a public forum and I'm sure many scammers will be happy to have that information.

Apologies for not updating, certain health issues took priority.

Just to say that after several  calls and threats to  cancel my account  BT finally sorted a refund, so much so they overpaid 🤓

That went someway to upgrading my wife's mobile contract and covered it for a full year 👍

Hi @Jahbulon

Thanks for posting back!

I'm sorry for the problems you've been having getting set up on BT Basic.  I have sent you a private message with instructions on how you can send us over your details and we'll look into this for you. See: Private messages

Cheers,

Robbie
