BT Basic Broadband: Is It Still 15gb Per Month?

Hello.

Here's hoping someone can provide an answer.

Has BT Basic Broadband been returned to the 15gb per month usage limit or is it still unlimited usage?

Re: BT Basic Broadband: Is It Still 15gb Per Month?

All BT broadband packages have unlimited usage, any that had limits were removed during Covid and there won't be a return.

If you do have BT Basic now, you could look at the newer social tariff Home Essentials which may benefit you, previous restrictions on extra services have been removed, you can also have better fibre broadband if it's available.

Re: BT Basic Broadband: Is It Still 15gb Per Month?

Thanks for the replies imjolly and Richie. FYI the paper bill states 15gb usage per month while other sources state it is indeed unlimited usage; hence my confusion.

To quote from the bill: 'Broadband Package Broadband 15gb. BT Basic + Broadband'

PS: I'm quite satisfied with BT Basic and have no need to move onto something else.

BT Basic has been replace by Essential so probably worth the change
