BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

Screenshot 2025-03-24 101024 a.png

Hi All, Looking for some clarification with regard to this BT package deal (Full Fibre 300 + TV Full Works) as per attached. The offer price shown £62.99 per month, would this be the price charged each month until next March 2026 and then increase to £122.99 from 31st March 2026. Any comments on this would be appreciated as not completely sure if missing something about this offer.

Cheers, Al.

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

@licquorice -

Thanks for your reply and agree with you. However I’ve just done a dummy run if to sign-up for this and getting the following (see attached). So I’m wondering if the price part for “Full Works” will change as attached or deal will remain Total Monthly Cost £62.99 as advertised. (Cost breakdown is : Full Fibre 300 : £32.99 / Phone : £5.00 / Full Works : £25.00). Screenshot 2025-03-24 115148.png

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

@clique-al

from what you have posted it is like 'full works' is £25 for 3 months and then increases to £80 after 3 months until 3/26 where it increases to £82pm and £84 from 3/27

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

@clique-al That is a total contradiction to the original screenshot. If the price is not honoured until March 2026 I suggest that trading standards might have something to say.

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

@imjolly - This was not highlighted or shown on the BT advertised offer as i've attached on first post. So is this false offer price £62.99 until March 2026?

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

The advert says saving £165 on full works tv , that’s three months discount £80-£55 =£25.00 for three months , £55 discount x 3=£165, so the TV may be a 24 month deal , but the discount is three months ….I would imagine in the advert it probably says 3 months somewhere

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

@iniltous - I've checked again the BT site advert (First post) and there is no mention of any 3 months. It only came to light after processing order was placed for offer. Not right?

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

I have asked the mods to investigate, this seems very devious if the offer isn't valid until March 2026.

Re: BT Broadband, Phone & TV Package Offer ????

If the fact it’s 3 month discount isn’t prominent displayed initially, and it’s only obvious once you click through to the details of the deal , ( which TBH it does clearly say the price after 3 months )  , along with the opening offer screen saying £165 saving  , then personally I don’t think it’s ’dishonest’ but it is encouraging the viewer to proceed further .

Obviously a £55 discount for the entire 24 months would be £1320 that’s 8 times more , so the saving shown on the opening screen would show that if it were true  , TBH it is prominent shown that the saving is £165 before clicking through to the deal .

FWIW , I would think anyone considering this product presumably knows that £25 is not much more than a 1/4 of the regular price of £80 , so £25 for the entire 24 months is not going to be realistic , and  ‘should’ realise the limit of the discount with the information provided on the initial screen , but I’d agree it’s designed to get you to click through to the offer details,  wether it’s misleading or simply marketing is open to debate.
