BT CANCELLED PACKAGE WITHOUT TELLING ME!

BT are an absolute joke! Placed my order 14th January. Everything confirmed. They sent an ariel engineer on 28th Jan without any issues. Yesterday I received the hub, tv box and 2 phones no problem in the post. Received text reminders yesterday to confirm everything was going ahead as planned. Today was expecting engineer at 10am-12pm. All confirmed via text. Now just checked the website to be told the whole package was cancelled by someone who NOBODY AT BT can tell me Who or WHY. It was cancelled 2 days before the engineer even came to install the ariel which shows how incompetent BT really are if they cancelled the account 2 days before they sent an engineer and 1 week before they posted me all of the equipment. I used the online chat facilities initially today to check what was wrong and the supposed problem. Was given absolutely no explanation or apology by the person. After 20 minutes was told to just call bt and no other help. Was then given apology by someone over the phone and told it would be another 10 days and I need to start a new account with BT BECAUSE THEY CANCELLED THE ACCOUNT. I AM FED UP

Hi @Annoyed15, welcome to the forum, and thanks for posting.

I'm sorry your order had to be cancelled and you weren't notified of this or told why.  I can't explain why this happened but on some occasions, it is necessary as the order is not progressing correctly. I understand that you would rather have had your services connected today so you should ask about Automatic Compensation once your order is completed to compensate you from today until the 11th.
