I am hard of hearing which makes contacting BT by phone to discuss the (usually) annual renewal of my broadband contract very difficult. Last year I was able to use their online Chat facility to arrange to undertake contract renewal discussion via email. Last Friday, I was able to contact BT again using their Chat online facility to try to arrange the same procedure this year. I was told someone from their "specialist team" would contact me by email within 24 hours. There has been no email from BT 4 days later. Today I tried to use the chat online link again but it has mysteriously been "greyed out" and is inactive. Can anyone tell me if this chat online facility should still be available? Alternatively, can anyone tell me how to contact BT by email? I have checked online and their "Contact" process is a closed system which only allows you to ask the questions they want you to be permitted to ask. I will be very happy if anyone can tell me I am wrong about this last point and explain why. Thanks for reading this.

Online chat does appear to be down, not sure what the problem is.
Forumhelp (personal website) is back, with lots of useful info for BT home broadband customers..
