Quick update: -
2 months since I placed the order...
Duplicated, cancelled, & split orders (I have had 6 different order references for my one order)
I've had 3 smart hubs delivered as a result
Engineer visit yesterday - "fibre will be activated by midnight"
This morning STILL no fibre
BTs answer - "we'll send you another smart hub"
Tried all three hubs we already have for good measure - no fibre - so clearly NOT the hub...
Called back, new guy is so much more helpful. When I said the light was orange he was like 'well the the hub is working so I don't know what the other guy was doing'
Just as an aside, I've learned that my BT Mobile has no visual voicemail, or WiFi calling (excluding SmartTalk which is no use to me) so effectively my mobile contract is pointless too - I have no signal at home.
BT Mobile - activated, but effectively useless for my needs
BT Landline - Only just activated, seems to be working
BT Fibre - supposedly activated, but not working
BT Sport - activated, no complaints
So I'm fairly happy with half my order so far, but 2 months of this is getting a little bit draining.
Patrick (mod) - this is not a criticism of you, you've been helpful. But seems like you are being let down at every angle in trying to sort this one simple order out for me.
Further update -
Spoken to 5 people and have had to call every time (despite being promised a call back)
and still no internet. They have no clue what they are doing.
One of them was like you need to call a different number which when I did it was a business line.
She also said 'i'm going to close your complaint as it's resolved' and I had to argue with her for about 5 minutes to make sure she didn't close it.
