BT Fibre 100 Upgrade complete FAIL!

So we placed an order to upgrade to BT Fibre 100 back in May however this has still as yet not been installed and BT don't provide any regular updates ..... so the story .....

BT Arrived to install on the 27th May as planned but couldn't as the telegraph pole had a defect .... despite an engineer connecting up our neighbours Fibre Broadband less than 2 weeks prior to this who went up the pole. 

The engineer said he would have to get someone back with a cherry picker the following week and an appointment was booked for early June.  An engineer arrived (no cherry picker in site) didn't even knock - took some pictures and drove off.

Called BT for an update to be told they need to secure road space/road closure to be able to use a cherry picker. 

3 Weeks later - called for an update to be told the pole has now been escalated to 'Level 5 - Critical' and my understand is that a neighbour further down the street has been waiting since November 2020 for her Fibre Upgrade. 

Called again this morning to be told an engineer is booked for the 2nd August and it should all be sorted then - not holding my breath .... Anyone on here that can help??? 

I must admit the lack of updates from BT is very poor and they promise bill credits which you then have to chase for whilst chasing an update on when this saga is likely to be resolved.

post back if not solved by engineer on 2 august and can see if forum mods can help

Hi,

No sign of BT yet and no contact ..... surprise surprise! Looking very much like another failed install attempt (well i mean they haven't even shown up!) I'm getting fed up with Lie after Lie.

Still no visit - how do i get contact from a MOD to follow up on this?
