***BT Reward Card Not Received***

I hope I’m posting this in the proper board, if not, forgive me (first time posting).

I signed up to BT broadband last year with the £100 reward card offer. I was sent the activation email with an activation code on 29th November 2018 which stated the card should be received within 10 days. I was unfortunately taken in to hospital on 30th November and have only recently managed to return home.

Upon going through my mail, I had noticed that I hadn’t received the reward card that was supposed to be sent out. I have contacted the number on the activation email which put me through to a third party, and the gentleman I spoke to informed me that since it’s been 90 days from the activation email that the account has now been closed and the balance wiped. He stated there was nothing that could be done from their side and to contact BT directly which I have also done.

The customer service advisor from BT said there’s nothing that could be done from his department and provided an email address (giftcard.allocation@bt.com) to contact in order for it to be reissued. I have also done this but still haven’t received any response.

I’d be much obliged if anyone is able to offer any advice on the next steps I should persue, as the £100 reward card was one of the main reasons I signed up to BT in the first place, and has left me somewhat disappointed and disgruntled with the fact I’ve not received it.

Welcome to this user forum. @MDW9 

I doubt that there is much that can be done, however

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Hi @MDW9  Thanks for sending over your details. I've emailed the promotions team about your Reward Card. They normally take 2-3 working days to get back to us and I'll be in touch to update you as soon as I hear back from them.

Hi @MDW9  the promotions team have got back to me and they have arranged for a replacement card for you. This will be with you within the next 21 days.

Post back and let me know you receive the card ok or if not just let me know after the 21 days have passed and I will chase again for you.

Thanks for posting back and I am sorry that you haven't received the reward card as of yet.
