I took out a BT offer via Uswitch which clearly stated a BT Reward of £70 and a £50 M&S voucher was on offer. In fact I phoned and checked and was told I would get both! The BT reward came through but the M&S voucher didn’t despite applying as required on the specific claim forms. BT claimed it wasn’t being offered at the time. I screen grabbed the offer at the time for reference. They have a long list of dates applicable hidden in T&C’s which isn’t even in date order! The fact remains the offer was made and I accepted it. If the reward was not available it should not have been shown on the Uswitch site. Somebody at BT needs to take responsibility and honour the deal I was shown. If they do not I will go to the various consumer watchdogs and complain vociferously until this matter is resolved to my full satisfaction.
