BT Sport renewal = I lost my Infinity Deal

Following the renewal of my BT Sport Package (via call agent) I just noticed my bill has went up. Turns out that my BT Infinity Deal was ending (he made no mention of that) and that I would revert to the full price. The call handler also omitted the fact my BT Sport deal was only for 6 monthn.

 

I submitted a complaint and after discussing with complaints they sent an email stating  "I'm pleased we've sorted everything out and that you've said it's ok to close your complaint" - that is False !

 

I have been billed for 2 months full Infinity Prices (never mentioned I was reverting to this) and my BT Sport is only 6 for months - This is Misselling !

 

I am curently waiting on a refund for the overbilling and a will request a cancellation of my Infinity Contract due to Misselling !

 

I am hoping BT will resolve this or I will take this the full way !

They are not shy when it comes to starting you on a fresh contract without mentioning it.

Hi @DavyMac Sorry about the confusion over the new contract when you renewed your BT Sport deal. 

 

When you raised your complaint did the case handler not contact you prior to this email? If you want to take your complaint further we will be happy to help you do this if you send us your details. You can contact us by clicking on my user name and selecting contact the mods.

John - case handler did - sent me an email saying "Thanks for speaking with me today. I'm pleased we've sorted everything out and that you've said it's ok to close your complaint."

 

I have been billed with this extra money not being mentioned and no mention the BT Sport deal was only 6 months, I spoke to the TS team and they have said this is misswlling, as a BT Broadband customer for over 10 years I am pretty agrieved that BT has resorted to these methods !

 

I asked the case handler to email me (as obviously we had misunderstood me and TS it was best to email so there was no misunderstanding) - needless to say casehandler called me !! 

 

I have sent a PM to you with case number.

5 days later and still waiting - this is clear misselling and now they arent getting back to me - time to bin BT and move to Vodafone or Sky !!!
