BT TV APP EXTRA

Hi there, I just changed my subscription details after the recent package change. Now I see "BT TV APP EXTRA" on by bill for the first time. I never asked for this and I only watch through my BT TV box and on my computer via wi-fi. What is the reason for this addition and should I be liable to pay for it? We never use the BT TV mobile app.

It's free & means you can watch the bt tv app on other devices, nothing to worry about charge wise etc

In that case why does my latest bill include: "Recharge for the discount you received in advance£4.19"

Hi @bryanlaw , Did you get anywhere with this.

I had the same issue a while ago when changing tv package, there seemed to be some confusion whether BT TV APP EXTRA was chargeable or not.
