BT final bill

Hello

I am moving to an area not covered by fibre, and BT is not interessted in providing a solution (please see my other thread).  Threrfore I am forced to terminate my BT account.  The problem is I pay 3 months in advance (like the most of BT customers) and the latest bill (payable in 3 days time) is up to beginning of May, whilst the termination date is in March.  This means that I will have to pay for almost two extra months and over £100 after I leave BT.

I know that BT is supposed to refund this amount, but we are in the process of moving and every penny counts.  Also I don't know how efficient they are in refunding overpayments.

Is it possible to have this bill changed to reflect the termination date?

Many thanks in advance.

Re: BT final bill

The latest bill cannot be changed.

The final bill will be raised  within 10 days of the contract ceasing.

Any refund due will be paid within 14 days of the final bill and will be made by the last payment method.
