BT have the wrong postcode for my address and try as I may I cannot change it through 'My BT'. I am changing provider but they can't/won't proceed until BT, and I presume Openreach, have the 'correct' postcode (Which is wrong!) I have had two online chats with BT customer service people who both assured me they would change it but as yet to no avail. The postcode on the BT database is one digit out from the correct one on Royal Mail. Any help greatly appreciated!
Hi @Sonofploppy Thanks for sending over your details. I've checked and when you called in a few days ago the adviser has already contacted Openreach for you to get the records updated. This should be completed within the next 7-10 days and they will be in touch to let you know when it's fixed.
