Bill after my husband's death

Hi. My husband MR B C****** pass away - I called BT on 0800 169 1663 and I left BT for financial reason. BT sent me 28/08/2019 final bill and cheque but cheque have my husband name on it!  I had the conversation with BT about it but ...ineffectually! Could BT please resend cheque to my name?

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Welcome to the community @larac .

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, please accept my condolences. 

When you received the cheque there would have been a covering letter with a return address should there be any problems with it. Do you happen to still have that letter?

That's correct @larac 

You c an return the cheque to that address with a note explaining what has happened. It should be sorted for you quite quickly.

Thank you so much! I had a call from BT today and a promise to send a cheque
within 10 days. Let's see - this promise I heard once already.
