Hi. I have been issued a late payment charge and am a month behind on my bill. This is because I have been classified as vulnerable and have to stay in for 12 weeks. I always pay my bill with cash at the post office but obviously I can't do this at the moment and have no-one to do this for me. I cannot get through to BT at all to explain this to them and can't even initiate a live chat. I am having an absolute nightmare with this and think it is unfair to punish me when I can't even speak to them. I've been in tears with this. Can someone explain to me what I am supposed to do? Thank you for your time.

to let us know that you need more time to pay you can do this via our automated line on 0870 240 5566 and select option 4.
