I switched my landline to another provider in July 2018, and received my final bill from BT in November 2018. The bill assumes costs of £625.98 dating from 2002 for unspecified calling features. Since 2002 I have been aware of using 1571 and caller display, but nothing else, and these features were paid every month. BT removed 1571 from my package (this required three attempts due to their errors) in 2017 at my request, and I also have two emails in my archives from 2017 stating that my calling features are free on renewal of line rental. I also transferred the nominated account holder to myself via the bereavement service after my mother's death in February 2017 (although I had overseen the usage/package/bills for years), and yet nothing was mentioned of these extra charges, or retrospective charges.
I have contacted BT on six occasions since 5th November (chat, phone, email) and each time an advisor promises that somebody will email/call. Nobody has called. I am still waiting (while my BT 'dashboard' is threatening to pass my details to a "debt collection agency" on Jan 11th 2019, and "there may be extra charges to pay").
Can anybody help with this problem, or stimulate a response?

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
