Boardband

Already with BT but looking to change my contract but still staying with BT. My question is that i noticed on the new contract that it wouldn’t be activated until say Monday after looking at the new one on Saturday. The main question is would i lose the internet between the chance over to the new contract or would it just automatically go onto the new one without the lost over those couple days ?

Tried to phone customer services today Saturday 28th November but it seems closed

The term activation just refers to when that promotion would start, until then your existing services would continue to run as normal.

For example if you have Fibre 1 with PAYG calls, then upgraded to Halo with 700 minutes, the calls would remain chargeable until the 700 minute plan was activated, the increase from 55/10 to 80/20 wouldn't happen until the Halo activation.

Hopefully that clears things up, if not just post back and we'll help 🙂

Lastly, BT are not closed, they're open 7 days a week, most departments are :

Monday to Friday 8am until 9pm
Saturday 8am until 8pm
Sunday 9am until 6pm
