Yesterday 29th of March we moved house and had been due to have our BT infinity and phone line activated. Having plugged my router in I have been met with a pink flashing light although our phone line is active. I called BT at around 2pm and they had ensured me that all would be active by midnight. Low and behold, midnight came and still no blue light on the hub and no activation text from the engineer which was also promised. Just the pink lights. Having broadband is vital for me as I work from home. This however is not the first time this has happened with BT and specifically house moves so I can’t be that shocked.
Any help and advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
Initial suggestion would be to get onto BT again, and advise your Fibre has not been connected after 24 hours, that would (at the moment) be the quickest way. The Forum team here are unlikely to respond/be able to help until after the Easter weekend.
