I cannot add to what I have already said about the possibility of EE broadband equipment which they installed in some BT exchanges when they were a separate ISP. Other providers did similar things, when BT had to allocate rack space to OLO`s (Other Licenced Operators).
If that is the case, then work needs to be carried out in the exchange.
