Can anyone help me please? I have been trying to get through to BT for weeks now to cancel BT Sports and it keeps ringing out and then when I get through they hang up!! this is after being hold for about half an hour! (and running up my phone bill)
As a last resort, I cancelled my direct debit (yes silly I know but I won't appreciate any nasty comments re this) now I have pate payment charges on my account that I am worried will damage my credit rating.
What am I supposed to do when I can't get through to anyone and I have not wanted the service for the past 2 months?

Monday to Friday 8am until 9pm Saturday 8am until 8pm Sunday 9am until 6pm
Cancelling a direct debit only stops the payments, not the service. If you have a late payment change, it will most likely be recorded on your credit file, BT and all businesses have a responsibility to accurately report late payments.
