Cancelling with BT after 2.5 years - returning Ultra HD box

I was with BT for 2.5 years, and have had the Ultra HD box since day 1.

I was out of contract in March 2019, and phoned to renew for another year. But within the 14 day cooling off period, i decided to renage on the 1 years contract and cancel my package altogether (phone, broadband, tv and mobile).

I will not go into the details of why, but i was led to believe you get to keep the Ultra HD box if you complete the first year of a contract (which i did 1.5 years ago).

Now i keep getting texts, and messages on my BT.com account stating that i must return the box.

Can someone please advise?

The box is yours, unless you want to recycle it and take advantage of BT's 'offer' to dispose of it.
