I mean't what BT is telling me I got 

BT Superfibre (which was ordered and active on 26th) --> BT superfibre Essential (which it got somehow changed to on the 27th). 

I don't see how the package would change if there was noise so it sounds like some sort of technical/admin messup. Vs technical issue.
