I already did - their response was yeah, we can upgrade you. After trying to sell me BT TV and BT mobile they went to upgrade the Fibre and then said 300 was the max speed I can get. He followed that up by saying it was probably because I’m in an existing contract. I did say that made no sense.

Had the same issue, says im eligible on the website, go through the process and then tells me this is not available because I am an existing customer. Called several numbers and get the same message, 300 is as much as I can get (they will sell me).

So frustrating.

Yep, quite annoying, we have five in our house and now working from home, so the upgrade would have been handy.

Disappointing they've already soft launched it if they're not quite ready.  

Looking at my calendar I can give my 30 days notice next Monday, maybe that will trigger something.

same here it says i can upgrade and order the 900 package on there site but when we called bt up  they say we cant get the 900 package because we are already a customer lol we have to call back tomorrow to speak to a Specialist  i am on the 300 i can get 310 max speed when no one else uses  the web

Would be good to hear how you get on tomorrow.

I suspect the bandwidth is being reserved at the moment and they launched but kept it restricted. They guy I spoke to said he had a special number to call on a note that popped up when I asked for it. It was after that call he gave me what now looks to be a scripted reply.

will post how i get on tomorrow but isnt fibre connections seperate bandwith compared to people who uses normal lines? if i cant get it for some reason my contract is finished now and i might see how much it will cost to have it installed or i might go with giga net they said i should be able to get the 1gig speeds once available from open reach i will messgae them again if no luck with bt

I'm in the same boat here... new build (2 years), FTTP on Fibre 250 with Halo 1 it says on my bill.  Broadband checker says I can order 900 but the value team and the other FTTP team says they only see 300 on their screens.  The chap I just spoke with did say he'd seen 900 appear for another customer so it sounds like the database they have access to is updated for some addresses but not others...  Maybe Openreach have to do something in our local exchange to enable the 900 first but for others its done?  Who knows but its a shame!
