Compensation

I ordered fibre2 to start on 6th May but the engineer found that the duct was blocked and would need another open reach team to dig up the duct and lay new duct, this has happened and I have a new appointment to get fttp installed on the 11th June. The thing is I want to upgrade to fibre 100 and was advised to do this on 12th June the day after the fibre is installed.

The question I am asking is if I upgrade on the 12th June to fibre 100 will I lose my automatic compensation for delay of installing my service.

Re: Compensation

Hi @Conduirez thanks for posting and welcome to the community. I'm sorry about the delay in getting your fibre installed.

I agree it would be best to let the order that's in place complete before doing the upgrade.  In answer to your question, once the order completes your compensation is automatically paid and placing an upgrade order will not affect that.

Thanks
Neil
