Confused and Disappointed.

Confused and Disappointed

A few days ago I phone BT to talk about my Broadband and phone line contracts as they were coming to a end. After discussing this and that I said that would like to cancel BT TV as I never use this service, this is where to trouble started he says that I must subscribe to the minimum essentials package if I don’t I will not be able to rewind, pause or use seven day catch up on the programme guide on my Youview Box. I know this has all been said before on the forum but it is confusing to the customer to be subjected to this doubt, I explained what I had read about this subject on the BT forum to the advisor but he stuck to his view. If its right that it will work without a BT package I feel the I have be coerced into renewing something that I don’t want. BT should be stopped from doing this.

That also applies if you just stop your BT YouView service.
