Don't you have any special offers on MyBT at all such as a Black Friday Discount?

Give BT another ring tomorrow as the offers made over the phone are ridiculously hit and miss - you may get lucky and get an operative who does give you a good deal.

Re: Contract end

Spoke to 4 different advisors from "Value " team, couldn't get through to anyone else and all they were concerned about was selling me fibre plus package, which i told them i didn't need. They told me that was only offer available , i asked to be dropped down to the fibre essential package as that is all i need but they couldn't  do that.

So as it stands now i have signed up for Plusnet ( I know its BT owned )

You should have received a private message from them, explaining why.

Its on this page https://community.bt.com/t5/Announcements-Guides-Community/BTCare-Community-Forums-User-Guidelines/t...

Re: Contract end

Update : after moving broadband, landline and mobile over to Plusnet, phoned BT for my PAC code and " Value " team offered me a better deal. So decided to stay with BT on 18month contract.
