Hi,
My broadband contract is due to expire at the end of this month. I phoned up to cancel, as I’m planning to move to another provider; and have been told I need to give 30 day’s notice. Is this correct if the contract is ending?

Re: Contract ending January 2022
Yes, it's in the t&c's there's 30 days notice to cancel anytime. If you're moving to another openreach provider though just ask them to do a working line takeover & there's no need to cancel with BT

Do not contact BT, that is the incorrect procedure if moving suppliers. Just contact your new provider and they will do the rest.
