Cost after 12 months

It seems the monthly cost (depending on BT's weekly offer) can be anything between £19.99 to £30 a month. This is for Entertainment Plus + Unlimited BT Infinity 1 + Weekend Calls

Once the 12 months ends, what would be the monthly cost?

Re: Cost after 12 months

Tried that, and they could not give me an answer - they suggested I call an 0800 number to find out.

I just hoped a long standing BT customer could answer this?

Re: Cost after 12 months

The current full prices are something like this.

£16.99 = Standard Line Rental

£23.00 = Unlimited Infinity 1 and Weekend Calls

£10.00 = TV Entertainment Plus

It might depend on exactly what terms you sign up to though. Also the prices can change before the 12 months is completed and BT have just announced that there will be price rises in Sep 2015.

Re: Cost after 12 months

Thanks umpire.

I wanted to make sure that if I signed up for a 12 month contract at say £22 a month, it then didn't leap to something ridiculous at £40 a month.

I expect a few quid extra after 12 months.

Re: Cost after 12 months

The standard charges are buried in a heap of stuff called the Tariff Guide. Best thing to do is make sure your calendar is marked to call the Options Team on 0800 800 030 a month or two before your minimum period ends and see what you can haggle for in return for taking a new minimum period. You're almost certain to find better prices elsewhere if you think it's worth the hassle of moving every year or two.
